I hate trying to manually embed vids in my website, hence my dependance on YouTube or Brightcove. But it takes so much time to get my clips on YouTube. Well, now there’s another tool available: the QuikVid Toolbar. This handy addition to your IE browser (sorry, no Firefox or Opera) allows you to upload the video to their servers almost painlessly and then provides you the embed code for your site. Seems cool, but the lack of Firefox support is going to prevent me from being a user. If anyone has tried it out, let me know how it worked. Marketing hype and real world use can be such different worlds…
